Terms and conditions

1. General terms and conditions

  • Booking: All group and individual bookings must be made in writing via email or through our booking system. For “last minute” bookings, bookings can be made by phone, subject to availability.
  • Instruction and safety: All participants receive a thorough instruction and safety briefing before the activity starts. Participants are obliged to follow the instructions given by our guides throughout the activity. In the event of a breach of instructions, rules or safety routines, Serious Fun AS reserves the right to deny the participant further participation without refund.
  • Alcohol and drugs: Participation under the influence of alcohol or other drugs is not permitted. If a participant is deemed to be under the influence, they will be denied participation without refund.
  • Self-declaration: All participants must complete a self-declaration form before participating in activities such as rafting and paintball. The form confirms that the participant is informed of the risks of the activity and meets the health requirements.
  • Age limit and health requirements: The customer is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the age limits and health requirements for participation.
  • Insurance: Serious Fun AS has liability insurance that covers the activities, but we recommend that all participants have personal travel insurance.
  • Cancellation and weather conditions: Serious Fun AS reserves the right to change the route, time or content of the activities in the event of weather conditions, security risks or other unforeseen events. If the activity has to be canceled due to weather or other conditions beyond our control, the customer will receive a full refund.
  • No-shows: Participants who do not show up for scheduled activities will not be refunded. This is because guides and equipment have already been planned and prepared for the activity.
  • Photography and sharing of images: During the activities, Serious Fun AS may take photos and video that can be used for marketing purposes. If a participant does not wish to be photographed, this must be stated upon arrival.
  • Adaptation for special needs: The organizer or participant is responsible for informing Serious Fun AS of any special needs, such as medical conditions, disabilities or food allergies. Serious Fun AS will accommodate where possible, but cannot guarantee that all needs will be met.
  • Transportation and logistics: Serious Fun AS can provide transportation to and from the activity venue by arrangement. The organizer is responsible for coordinating transport with the participants if this is not included in the booking.
  • Inclusion and respect: At Serious Fun AS, we welcome everyone, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or beliefs. We aim to create a safe and inclusive environment for all our guests and employees. Discrimination, harassment or disrespectful behavior will never be tolerated and we reserve the right to reject participants who violate these values.
  • Complaints and feedback: If you notice any deficiencies or have any complaints during the activity, please notify the contact person for your booking or the person responsible on site immediately. This gives us the opportunity to rectify the situation and ensure that your experience is as good as possible. We also greatly appreciate feedback given directly to us via e-mail at post@seriousfun.no. This gives us the opportunity to clarify any misunderstandings and improve further. We encourage dialog rather than anonymous feedback online, so that we can find good solutions together.
