We have ready-made packages and programs, but we also customize everything according to budget, number of participants, wishes and time.

Rjukan is a perfect destination for class trips with a historical and learning-oriented offer. Here the class can combine curriculum-related learning with exciting activities in Geilo. Classes can explore the Saboteur Trail and visit Vemork, where the history of the heavy water action comes alive. This provides an authentic and educational experience that can also make it easier to be granted time off school, as well as opportunities to apply for funds to finance the trip.

Transportation

Transportation from your home is not included, but bus transportation can be booked via Serious Fun. We use Geilo Turbusser, which has modern buses and is competitive on price. The Bergen Railway stops at Geilo, so it’s easy to take the train from both Oslo and Bergen. If you want to take the train, we recommend that you book this yourself.

Prices and information

Prices for school groups are very reduced. Prices are based on midweek arrangements and filling up apartments/cabins as much as possible. If a weekend trip is desired, this may entail a surcharge. At Vestlia Resort, it is possible to book single rooms for an additional fee. For groups of more than 30 people, we can adapt the activities for larger groups and roll the activities/run registration. Check the tour suggestions for prices or contact us for a quote.

How to start booking your class trip

When you start booking your class trip, it’s most important to find a date and choose an accommodation first, as these can get full. We recommend booking right away, as you also have plenty of time to cancel. See deadlines further down. Once your accommodation has been booked, you can then start booking activities on an ongoing basis. We understand that it can sometimes take some time to get an overview of volunteering and finances, and we are very solution-oriented. We fully understand that planning can be confusing and that it can take time to get everything in place.
