Experience the thrill and fun of rafting in Dagali, just 25 minutes from Geilo! Family rafting with Serious Fun is a safe and fun activity suitable for families with children from the age of 8.
What can you expect?
When you arrive at our base in Dagali, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our experienced guides who always put safety first. We have free parking, and all necessary equipment – including wetsuit, wet shoes, helmet and life jacket – is handed out on site. Before the tour, the guides give a thorough safety briefing so that everyone feels safe and ready for the adventure.
During the trip:
Family rafting offers an exciting combination of calm sections and fun rapids. This makes the trip safe and fun for families with children aged 8 and up. On warm days you can also take a dip or just enjoy floating calmly along the raft. Our guides are always on hand to offer advice and support along the way. The bus runs alongside the river throughout the rafting trip for extra safety. The bus driver also takes photos/video on selected rapids.
Adapted for high water levels:
When the water level is high, the rapids can be more challenging, but we adapt the trip to ensure that everyone participates safely. To make it safer for the youngest children, they can be driven around the most demanding rapids with our bus.
After the trip:
Back at the base in Dagali, you can see photos and videos from the trip – a fun memory you can also buy. Our base is a wilderness camp without running water, so please note that there is no access to showers. But there will be simple changing rooms where you can change.

Swimwear, wool underwear and towel. Remember that the little ones are more comfortable in the raft, wool underwear is recommended!
Duration
Approximately 2.5 hours in total including transportation and instruction. Duration may vary, depending on the amount of water in the river and the number of participants.
Meeting place
Rafting center Serious Fun, Aasbergmogen, 3588 Dagali. The Serious Fun rafting center is located about 30 minutes from Geilo.
Price includes
Experienced guide in each raft, transportation to and from meeting point and river, all necessary equipment: Wetsuit, helmets, life jackets and wet shoes.
Age limit
8 years with parental/guardian approval.

- Own raft/family package: NOK 3,950,
If you book the family package, you are guaranteed a raft all to yourself. The raft can accommodate up to 6 people. The package also includes photos/video from the rafting trip (value NOK 300).
