In order to provide the guests with the best possible arrangement, these general conditions will provide clarity in the contractual relationship in advance. Read the terms carefully.
General terms:
Liability / insurance
Serious Fun has liability insurance with If. The individual guest should ensure that they have travel insurance.
The customer himself is obliged to obtain information about our age limits and physical health requirements. The customer himself is responsible for assessing his own physical and mental condition in relation to the content of the tour in question. Serious Fun reserves the right to refuse customers' participation in activities if the participation poses a risk to the customer himself, other participants or Serious Fun's staff. If you have special needs, please contact us, we can arrange for most of them.
All participants in rafting and paintball must sign a self-declaration in which they themselves take responsibility for their participation in the activity.
Alcohol
For safety reasons, we have no alcohol before and during participation in physical activities.
Clothing / equipment
Serious Fun provides the necessary safety equipment for all activities. For rafting, we recommend bringing woolen underwear/super underwear and a towel.
Liability for damage
Guests may be held financially responsible for damage to equipment caused by negligent or intentional behavior of participants.
Force Majeure
Events beyond Serious Fun's control - fire, major theft, natural disasters, war, acts of terrorism and the like give Serious Fun the right to terminate the agreement without compensation liability.
Conditions for group arrangements
Price offer
The price offer is based on the quantity according to the order. In the event of major changes in the number, this will in some cases result in a different price. All prices include VAT.
Confirmation and deposit
25 % of the event price must be paid as a deposit 14 days after confirmation of the order.
Cancellation / change
4 weeks before: deadline for cancellation of the entire group and deadline for reducing the number by up to 50 %.
2 weeks before: For groups that order later than the deadlines stated above, the order can be canceled or the number reduced for 24 hours after the order confirmation has been sent.
In the event of cancellation by the organiser, an alternative arrangement is offered if possible. The customer can choose to withdraw from the order and the organizer will refund 100 % of the order's value.
Additional participants
If the number increases, you must notify us as soon as possible. Even an increase of one person can have an impact on the number of guides and the equipment needed for an activity. This also applies to food service.
Payment
An invoice is sent out due approximately 14 days before the start of the event, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
By confirming the order, the customer declares his agreement to these terms.
GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR GROUPS – ACCOMMODATION
If your group's accommodation is included, we follow the conditions for the accommodation:
- Validity
The conditions below apply to the extent that no other written agreement has been made by the organizer - hereinafter referred to as the event.
- Cancellation
All cancellations must be made in writing. The underlying cancellation conditions are always linked to the size of the originally ordered event (number of participants). Conditions do not change, even if the size of the event changes.
The following cancellation deadlines apply:

*Any advance/partial payment paid will be refunded, with the exception of any binding amount
In case of cancellation beyond the mentioned deadlines, the organizer will be charged 80 % of the original price of the entire event. Cancellations later than 48 working hours before the event or no-shows on the actual meeting day will be charged 100 % of the agreed price. Agreed package prices are unit prices and cannot be divided or changed before, during or after the stay.
- Details in the event
No later than 14 days before the event, the hotel must have received from the booker all details that are important for the successful completion of the event, for example programme, name list, choice of menu, allergies etc.
- Allocation of hotel rooms
Arrival and departure times must be specified in advance. If a late arrival has not been agreed (after 18.00), the hotel can cancel the order. The rooms can be expected to be used after 16.00 on the day of arrival and the guests must have checked out by 11.00 on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed. The organizer will be charged for an extra day if the deadlines are not met.
- Special relationships
Placement of gifts, use of special equipment, setting up of decorations and posters, raising of flags/pennants, signage etc. must be agreed and approved in advance.
The law does not allow the enjoyment of brought food and drink on the hotel premises.
The organizer must ensure that the sound level is kept at an acceptable and agreed level, and that the guests adhere to the agreed times when it comes to the end of meetings, serving, music and dancing.
- Prices and method of payment
Agreed prices are binding for both parties. Goods and services beyond the contract are charged according to the current price list. The hotel reserves the right to adjust prices as a result of changed costs due to increased taxes, fees or other conditions beyond the hotel's control. When changing more than 40% of the order, the hotel reserves the right to revise the prices. Payment is made according to
contract. Credit must be agreed in advance. For our credit customers, the invoice must be paid no later than 14 days after it has been received, in case of late payment an additional charge of 1% per month and credit will be assessed on later occasions. There is an invoicing fee of NOK. 75 per invoice. If there is a dispute about the invoice, it must be paid when due and the organizer will possibly be credited according to agreement. Invoices are not sent abroad.
- Responsibility for participant bills
The organizer is responsible for informing the participants about what is covered by the organizer and what the individual must pay themselves.
The organizer is responsible for unpaid participant bills. If one or more of the participants fails to participate in planned events, this does not entitle them to a price reduction.
- Changes in contract conditions
It is the responsibility of the organizer and the hotel, as soon as possible, to address matters that have a bearing on the contract, the conditions and the completion of the event. Any special agreements and changes of importance to the event must be made in writing.
- Liability for damage, theft etc
The hotel does not assume responsibility for the organizer's and any exhibitor's belongings. It is recommended that you take out your own insurance. The organizer is responsible for damage caused to the hotel as a result of negligent or intentional behavior by the participants. The organizer is also responsible for its own technical installations and any material or personal injury these may cause. When keys are handed over to premises/rooms, the recipient is responsible for locking them when these are unattended. The hotel disclaims any liability for personal injury that is not a consequence of gross negligence on the part of the hotel. The hotel has general liability insurance.
